The titanium used to make the earrings is 99.695% titanium. It does not contain added alloys or nickel, which makes it perfect to be worn by people with sensitive skin.

ASTM International has classified titanium in 38 degrees, depending on its purity and strength. Grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 titanium is pure titanium because it does NOT contain alloys. The difference between them is given by the presence of impurities, which, in a larger quantity, offer a higher hardness, and in a small quantity offer an increased malleability. Grades 5 to 38 contain different alloys (mostly aluminium and vanadium), in variable percentages.
